Dosage: How much CBD and UC-II® should I give?
We recommend you use the full recommended dosage of CBD oil for dogs and give the UC-II® chews in the evening, before bed, allowing the active ingredient to work throughout the night.
How to Dose CBD for Dogs?
CBD oil can be given orally before food or mixed with food.
For quick results, administer the drops under the tongue (sublingually), as the CBD will be absorbed much faster into the bloodstream.
Syringes are included with all our CBD Oils to use for sublingual dosing.
Our delicious prescriptive treats can be given throughout the day.
What is UC-II®?
A clinically tested ingredient called UC-II® is made of type II undenatured collagen obtained from chicken sternum cartilage. Joint cartilage contains type II collagen, which is necessary for mechanical strength, gliding ability, and cushioning. UC-II® reduces joint inflammation by modulating the body's immune system through oral tolerisation. These substances assist in reducing inflammation and promoting the production of collagen and cartilage once they are present in the joint cartilage.
This is how UC-II® instructs your body to regenerate and repair joint cartilage, enabling pain-free, fluid movement. Visit our blog for more information.

Why CBD + CBDA Isolate for pets
Early studies ³ have suggested the combination of CBD and CBDA may have a strong impact on the well-being of our pets, changing the way pet parents think about managing discomfort, stress, itching, cognition, tremors, and many other issues.
CBD works directly with the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is one of the largest receptor systems in the body. It regulates many vital processes, including sleep, mood, pain, stress and appetite, and is responsible for maintaining balance or homeostasis within the body.
CBDA ⁴, on the other hand, works as an inhibitor. It targets the COX2 enzyme which alerts the body to pain and inflammation, thereby reducing sensations of pain and discomfort.
US research ⁴ indicates that a combination of CBD + CBDA isolate may be the most effective cannabinoid treatment for pets.

What's the difference between Naturecan’s human CBD and pet CBD?
At Naturecan Pet, our key focus is formulating the best and safest products for your pet. We understand that if paw-rents are searching for pet CBD products, their pet may be ill or need some support to optimise their health, comfort and overall well-being.
This is why our priority for pet products is to refine CBD to be pure and safe, in its natural plant form. We do this by taking our Naturecan Broad-Spectrum CBD distillate used in our human range and refining it into a pure CBD and CBDA isolate using advanced chromatography technology.
What this further refinement process allows us to do is remove all traces of THC, as well as all flavonoids and terpenes, to deliver a safe and consistent CBD + CBDA isolate, guaranteed safe for pets.
