Product Overview

Our 10% CBC Oil is an isolate cannabichromene oil (CBC) extracted from certified organic hemp combined with only pure organic MCT carrier oil.

CBC stands for cannabichromene and was discovered in 1996. It is one of the major phytocannabinoids along with cannabidiol (CBD). Both CBC and CBD naturally develop from the same original substance inside the hemp plant, and just like CBD, CBC is also non-intoxicating.

As Isolate 10% CBC Oil, the compounds work together to influence the body’s endocannabinoid system.

With extensive third-party lab testing, we deliver a quality 10% CBC Oil that meets your needs, morning and night. Plus, our 10% CBC oils are manufactured and tested to ensure non-detectable levels of THC (0.01%) guaranteed.

CBD vs CBC: What is the difference?

CBD (cannabidiol) and CBC (cannabichromene) are two distinct cannabinoids found in cannabis plants, but they have some differences in terms of their chemical composition, prevalence in cannabis strains, and potential health benefits. Here are some key differences between CBD and CBC:

  • Interaction with the ECS: The key difference between CBC and CBD is their interaction with TRV1 receptors. CBC binds directly to the TRPV1 in the nervous system, making it more useful for inflammatory diseases. It also interacts with transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1); both receptors modulate our perception of pain. This means that CBC may be used to alleviate pain like traditional painkillers such as NSAIDs, but without their potentially harmful adverse effects. This makes CBC a potentially stronger anti-inflammatory and pain reliever than CBD.
  • Chemical Composition: CBD and CBC have different chemical structures. CBD is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid known for its potential therapeutic properties. CBC, on the other hand, is also non-intoxicating and has a unique molecular structure with its own potential benefits.
  • Prevalence: CBD is the most abundant cannabinoid found in hemp plants, and it is present in higher concentrations compared to CBC. Many hemp strains are specifically bred to have high levels of CBD. In contrast, CBC is typically found in lower concentrations in cannabis strains. However, some specific strains may have higher levels of CBC.
  • Synergistic Effects: CBD and CBC, along with other cannabinoids and terpenes found in cannabis, may have synergistic effects when consumed together. This means that the combined effects of multiple cannabinoids and other compounds may be greater than the effects of each compound individually. This phenomenon is often referred to as the entourage effect.

It's worth noting that the research on both CBD and CBC is still evolving, and there is much more to learn about their potential benefits and applications. It's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or medical expert before incorporating any cannabinoids or cannabis-derived products into your wellness routine, especially if you have specific health concerns or are taking medications.

CBC Oil FAQs

How long does it take CBC oil to work?

Once you have taken your CBC Oil sublingually (under the tongue) you could potentially feel the effects of CBC very quickly. It depends on many factors such as the starting point of your body’s systems, as well as the concentration of CBC you’re using. The bottom line is that CBC may affect everyone a little differently and work gradually over time.

When is the best time to take CBC oil?

CBC is non-intoxicating, so it can be taken any time of the day without affecting your ability to function properly. However, those looking for potential night-time support are best taking it just before going to sleep.

This is because CBC and other cannabinoids influence the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), a large cell-signalling network that regulates various bodily functions.

What does CBC oil taste like?

CBC Oil has a slight earthy taste. However, it isn’t strong or overpowering. Here at Naturecan, we use organic MCT carrier oil (coconut oil) in our 10% CBC Oil which helps to offset any bitter taste.

Do you have CBC oil in different flavours?

We’re currently working with a number of suppliers to create various flavours for you to enjoy. However, we won’t compromise on the quality, purity or potency of our CBC Oils so these products are still under development. Sign-up to our mailing list to stay updated.

Do you use pure or raw oil?

Expertly extracted from the cannabis plant, before being purified and distilled, our isolate CBC is a quality raw plant ingredient. Only then do we combine it with pure organic MCT coconut carrier oil to improve bioavailability.
