What did the study look at?
The study measured improvements in three visible signs of skin ageing:

• Skin elasticity

• Eye-area wrinkles

• Brown spots / hyperpigmentation

Who took part?

32 women aged 41–72 with dry, less elastic skin, fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone. 

How was it used?
Participants applied the serum in the evening for 12 weeks:

• 3 times per week for the first 4 weeks

• Every night for the next 8 weeks

They also used SPF every morning.

Results after 12 weeks
The serum showed statistically significant improvements:

Powered by Retinal

At the core of the formula is retinal, also known as retinaldehyde. Retinal is a next-generation form of vitamin A, positioned one conversion step closer to its active form than retinol.

To optimise both efficacy and tolerance, the retinal is delivered through a nano-encapsulation system. This allows for a more controlled release on the skin, helping to improve stability and reduce the risk of irritation often associated with vitamin A derivatives, while maintaining visible performance over time. Crescendo Nectar anti-âge is built around a selection of clinically recognised actives, supported by dermatologically controlled in-use testing.

In a panel of women aged 41–72 presenting with dry, inelastic skin, fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and uneven skin tone, the formula demonstrated statistically significant improvements in skin elasticity, periocular wrinkles, and brown spots after 84 days of use, with very good skin acceptability.

Retinal: Delivered Through Nano-Encapsulation

At the core of the formula is retinal, a next-generation form of vitamin A requiring one fewer conversion step than retinol to become biologically active in the skin.

To optimise both performance and tolerance, the retinal is delivered through a nano-encapsulation system. This allows for a more controlled release on the skin, helping to improve stability while reducing the risk of irritation commonly associated with vitamin A derivatives.

Peptide Support: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38

When to apply
